About Solid Foundations Preschool

It is our philosophy that children learn through hands on activities and FUN! It is so important that a child loves school and as their first teachers, our goal is to foster and instill this love of learning in each child that walks through the doors of Solid Foundations preschool. It is our goal for each child to leave us ready for Kindergarten with the social and academic skills needed to be successful as they continue in their educations.

Solid Foundations Preschool in Enumclaw is located near Montgomery Park on the corner of Harding St and Elmont Ave. We offer pre-kindergarten classes for different age groups in Enumclaw. See the list below for our current classes.

Busy Bees

2 1/2 - 3 year old Program

3-5 days per week (Half day or Full day Childcare)

This preschool class is open to those who will be 2 1/2 by September (start of the school year). Must be potty trained! This class will consist of up to 10 students with a balance of gender for both morning and afternoon sessions.

The purpose of this class will focus on your little one's first school experience. They will grow socially and academically in a loving, safe and nurturing environment. Your child will have fun while learning and making new friends. Focus will be on early letter identification, counting, shapes and colors. We will provide MANY fun and age appropriate activities throughout their preschool day.

The goal of the Busy Bees class is to provide a very nurturing and fun first school experience while helping your child to feel safe and secure about being away from mommy and daddy and feel comfortable to explore our fun environment. Our hope is that they develop confidence in themselves and a strong love of learning.

Frogs Class

4 year old and early 5's Program

This Pre- Kindergarten class is open to those who will be 4 by September of the school year (or very close) and children who are 5 but not yet in Kindergarten. This class will consist of up to 12 students with a balance of gender for both morning and afternoon sessions.

The purpose of this class is to prepare your child for Kindergarten! We will focus on developmentally appropriate activities with lots of hands on learning! Your child will develop friendships while learning the structure of a classroom. They will build confidence and beginning leadership skills with special jobs in the classroom. Children will work to identify and say the sounds of each letter, write letters, practice counting skills, beginning addition and subtraction skills, shapes and patterns. We will have FUN monthly themes that each child will get to create special art projects for while learning a lot too!

The goal of our Frogs class is to create a fun and engaging/hands on learning environment and to continue to instill a love for learning and a sense of confidence as your child enters the big doors of Kindergarten!
